| Bratislava seems to see itself as a poor country cousin to Vienna and Budapest, but the Hotel Albrecht and the surrounding area do the city great justice. The rooms are elegantly apportioned with beautiful bathrooms and there is a really fine indoor/outdoor restaurant with an excellent breakfast.
Decor is elegant and contemporary, with the remnants of the original manor house under the surface.
Parking is a little tight and the hotel is not located in the center of town, but there is easy bus service to the center and the distance from the center gives Hotel Albrecht an airy peacefulness. |
